Gelato Create is a white-label POD fulfillment platform. Sellers can place manual dashboard orders without a store integration. For integrated commerce, the buyer checks out through the seller's external store/payment gateway; Gelato is not involved in that retail transaction and separately charges the seller for production/shipping. The seller controls retail pricing, marketing, customer service, and the buyer relationship. Do not generalize this to GelatoConnect or a consumer “shop for yourself” flow.

The seller handles storefront tax and buyer-facing support. Gelato can tax its separate sale to the seller. Gelato accepts no ordinary personalized-product returns and provides no return address; the seller defines the buyer-facing return policy. Gelato investigates fulfillment-quality claims and, when validated, provides a replacement or refund. Exact deadlines/remedies remain linked.

Free permits two connected stores and two account users; Gelato+ and Platinum list unlimited stores/users. Gelato+ advertises up to 33% product discounts and explicitly excludes shipping discounts. Taxes/localized currencies can differ; the percentage is a ceiling, not a product-wide saving.
Confidential partner network and automatic routing Sources
Confidential partner routing
Gelato describes a confidential production-partner network spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa/Middle East, and Asia/Oceania. Sellers cannot select a country or provider. Routing considers destination, product availability, network capacity, and provider capability and can move away from the nearest location. Provider names/addresses are confidential and the normal dashboard does not show an exact pre-order production location. Post-event webhook examples can expose fulfillment country, state/province, and facility ID. Per-product production coverage remains catalog/quote evidence.

Base fulfillment uses plain packaging, no Gelato invoice/receipt, and the store name on shipping labels. Packaging inserts and branded labels are Gelato+ exclusive and limited to selected poster, framed-poster, and ready-to-hang-poster variants fulfilled in the US, UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, France, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
