The Gildan 5000 is a 5.3 oz crew-neck tee with a classic fit. Its open-end cotton yarn differs from the ring-spun yarn used in the lighter Gildan 64000. The tubular body is knitted without side seams, and the neck label tears away for custom branding.
The main fabric is cotton, but several colors use cotton-polyester blends. That means an all-cotton description does not cover the entire style. DTG, DTF, embroidery and screen printing are supported. The apparel fabric guide explains yarn construction and blend terminology.
