Construction & Material
The Bella+Canvas 3001ECO is the recycled-material version of the 3001 platform. At 4.2 oz with retail fit and side-seamed construction, it mirrors the 3001's silhouette but uses 65% recycled polyester and 35% recycled Airlume combed ring-spun cotton. The tear-away label enables custom branding.
The poly-dominant blend is a significant departure from the 100% cotton 3001. This affects print behavior — polyester absorbs DTG ink differently than cotton, and the higher polyester content increases dye migration risk on dark colors.
Print Compatibility
Supports Direct-to-Garment (DTG), Direct-to-Film (DTF), and Screen Printing. Embroidery is not available for this style. The 65% polyester content makes dye migration a primary concern for DTG on dark garments. Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers are less susceptible since the film barrier prevents dye bleed-through. The recycled fiber composition maintains the same print methods as the standard 3001, with the trade-off of increased polyester-related dye migration.
