External checkout across ordinary POD order-entry modes Sources
Connected store Manual orders CSV orders API orders

For ordinary POD fulfillment, the buyer uses the seller's external store/channel checkout. The seller sets retail price, receives buyer payment, and Prodigi charges the seller when the order is released to production. Manual/CSV orders are seller-submitted; API and native integrations automate the same fulfillment relationship. The seller is controller of merchant-customer data and Prodigi is processor; the seller owns buyer service/marketing and end-customer tax compliance, while Prodigi charges applicable tax on its merchant sale. Separate Print Shop, Mobile SDK, and Photo Book payment services can create a merchant-of-record mode, but their current eligibility is unknown and must not be generalized.

Seller-facing support/returns with Prodigi defect remedy Sources
Connected store Manual orders CSV orders API orders

The merchant is the public face and handles buyer support. Prodigi handles merchant-raised fulfillment defects: Prodigi-error returns/refunds are at its expense, while change-of-mind, non-Prodigi, wrong-address, and similar returns are merchant cost. Prodigi does not provide a configurable return address or accept unwanted returns. The defect-reporting deadline is intentionally not maintained.

Core, Pro, and Enterprise plan economics Sources
Core plan Pro plan Enterprise plan

Core is free. Public UK pricing lists Pro at GBP 40/month or GBP 35/month billed annually, excluding tax. Pro publishes 15% discounts on listed non-apparel categories, 10% on listed apparel, and 75% off branded inserts. Enterprise/custom accounts are negotiated. Actual selected-product plan prices remain in the product pricing path. The authenticated subscription screen on 2026-08-09 rendered Core at EUR 0, Pro at EUR 47 monthly or EUR 492 annually, and advertised an Enterprise option with white-label outsourced customer support and custom integrations; those values/capabilities are locale- and sales-gated.

Hybrid manufacturing network with automatic, partially transparent routing Sources
Automatic hybrid routing

Prodigi combines owned manufacturing with a partner network. Public region evidence proves some production in the UK, EU, US, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, Sweden, New Zealand, and Brazil; no region is universal for every product. Global SKUs are automatically allocated using product, destination, and shipping and can split. The quote API can expose country and lab code before ordering; dashboard/order evidence shows ship-from after allocation. No public source proves arbitrary lab pinning beyond choosing a region-specific SKU.

White-label base with route-sensitive branded inserts Sources
Product Sensitive Fulfillment-location/route-sensitive

Base products/packaging are white-label and packing slips omit cost prices, though branded garments can retain manufacturer labels. Branded stickers, postcards, flyers, and slips can work across native channels, manual/CSV, and API orders, but availability varies by product and fulfillment location and can disappear on partner-routed orders. A black-and-white slip is free where supported; other inserts are paid, with the published Pro/Enterprise discount above. Enterprise advertises custom packaging, but its scope is sales-gated.

REST API, separate sandbox, quote origin, and callbacks Sources
API orders API sandbox

A Core/free account provides v4 REST API credentials, a separate no-charge/non-fulfilling sandbox and live environment, a quote endpoint that includes fulfillment location, and callback/webhook events for order progress, shipments, and completion.

Manual, CSV, and pre-production hold workflows Sources
Connected store Manual orders CSV orders API orders

A free manual order form supports one-off orders without a connected store. The CSV importer supports bulk, multi-address orders using a generic template. An account-level order-edit window applies to API, manual, CSV, and sales-channel orders and can hold an order until manual release, permitting pre-production edits/cancellation before the seller is charged. TikTok-specific cancellation wording conflicts and remains excluded from the general claim.
