POD footwear uses sublimation to transfer designs onto polyester fabric uppers or coated surfaces. Canvas sneakers and slip-ons offer the widest design coverage. Slides and sandals provide seasonal warm-weather options with simpler print areas.

Sizing runs across US men's 4–13 and women's 5.5–12, with kids' sizes at select suppliers. Each subcategory has different construction — canvas shoes use fabric uppers on rubber soles, while slides use molded EVA or rubber bases with printed straps or footbeds.

Why do prints on POD shoes crack over time?
Shoes flex repeatedly at the toe and heel during walking. Print material can't stretch as much as the upper fabric, causing micro-cracks at high-flex zones over time.
What does all-over print mean on footwear?
All-over print covers the entire upper surface. On footwear, seams, eyelets, and structural elements interrupt the design — the print isn't truly seamless like on a flat garment.
Why is sublimation the main print method for POD footwear?
Footwear uppers use polyester canvas or coated surfaces that accept sublimation ink. DTG requires cotton fiber absorption, which most shoe materials don't provide.
How does upper material affect print quality on shoes?
Polyester canvas uppers hold sublimation ink well with vibrant color reproduction. Rubber, EVA, and sole components don't accept sublimation and remain unprinted.
What parts of POD footwear can actually be printed?
Only the upper fabric, straps, or footbed surfaces — depending on the style. Soles, midsoles, rubber components, and structural hardware like eyelets cannot be printed.
