VL45 uses 4.5-ounce fabric with combed ring-spun cotton. The default composition is 100% cotton; Athletic Heather is 90% cotton and 10% polyester, and the other heathers are 60% cotton and 40% polyester.
The short sleeves use set-in construction, joining the body at the armholes. A tear-away label can be removed before adding separate neck branding.
