More details

Material & Yarn

The Stanley/Stella STTU788 Freestyler is a heavyweight crew-neck tee in 100% organic cotton at 240 GSM. This is the heaviest t-shirt in the Stanley/Stella range and the only model using open-end yarn — all others use ring-spun.

Open-end yarn is coarser and more textured than ring-spun, producing a denser fabric surface.

Fit & Print Compatibility

The relaxed fit runs roomier than regular-fit Stanley/Stella tees. Compatible with DTG, DTF, and screen print. The 240 GSM weight provides higher opacity than lighter Stanley/Stella tees. The rougher open-end surface may produce slightly less sharp DTG prints compared to ring-spun cotton.

Buyer FAQ

Common questions

What type of cotton does the STTU788 use?
Open-end yarn — the only Stanley/Stella tee not using ring-spun. Open-end produces a coarser, denser fabric with a rougher texture.
How heavy is the STTU788 Freestyler?
240 GSM — the heaviest t-shirt in the Stanley/Stella range. Higher opacity than lighter Stanley/Stella tees.
What fit does the STTU788 have?
Relaxed fit. Runs roomier than regular-fit Stanley/Stella tees.
Does open-end yarn affect print quality?
The rougher surface may produce slightly less sharp DTG prints compared to ring-spun cotton, but the heavy weight ensures good ink absorption.
