For automated consumer sales, CustomCat connects to a seller-owned store rather than supplying a hosted consumer storefront. The buyer pays the seller through the store's processor; CustomCat separately charges the seller for product and shipping. Manual orders can be placed without connecting a store. Retail tax responsibility follows the seller's external channel/jurisdiction; CustomCat can charge tax on the seller's fulfillment purchase unless exempt.
Lite is free with standard catalog pricing and one account user. Pro costs USD 30/month or USD 300/year, advertises 20–40% off standard catalog prices, and supports up to five users. Enterprise is custom-priced with volume discounts, unlimited users, an account specialist, production escalation/SLA, and API technical support. The Pro discount is an advertised range, not a guaranteed selected-product saving.

CustomCat presents itself as the factory and says its catalog products are printed and shipped from its Detroit production operation. It does not present a provider marketplace, automatic multi-country production network, or origin selection.
Orders use plain white-label packaging and can display the seller's store name and return address on the shipping label. CustomCat does not currently offer custom neck tags, labels, packaging, or inserts. A seller-provided return address must be a valid US address; otherwise CustomCat's address is used, and parcels returned there cannot be reshipped and are donated.
Buyers contact the seller for general service and returns. CustomCat does not process returned merchandise for sellers. For documented CustomCat defects/errors, the seller submits photos through the account and CustomCat provides a no-cost replacement; buyer-error returns/refunds are generally outside its coverage.
CustomCat documents REST access on all plans for catalog/SKU retrieval, order submission/management, status, inventory, and tracking, plus shipped-order webhooks. API stores cannot manage orders created through direct ecommerce integrations. There is no full sandbox; a sandbox flag is used for test submissions.
