Space dyeing creates a heathered, multi-tonal color effect in the fabric — the yarn is dyed at intervals before knitting, producing a textured visual appearance. The mesh weave distinguishes it from the smooth-finish A230 or piqué-weave A430.
At 4.9 oz, the A591 is the heaviest of the three Adidas polos — heavier than the A430 (4.3 oz) and the A230 (3.8 oz). This is the only men's-specific polo in the Adidas POD line; the A230 and A430 are both unisex.
