Product notes

More details

Quarter-Zip Design

The Comfort Colors 1580 is the quarter-zip variant in the heavyweight garment-dyed fleece lineup. The quarter-zip neckline with self-fabric lined collar gives it a different front-panel layout than the pullover 1566 crewneck. The zip does not extend full-length — it opens about a quarter of the way down from the collar.

Material & Construction

9.5 oz 80/20 ring-spun cotton-polyester blend with side-seamed construction. Same heavyweight fleece as the 1566 and 1567. Relaxed fit, long sleeves, woven label, and garment-dyed product identity.

Print Compatibility

Compatible with DTG, DTF, embroidery, and screen print. The quarter-zip closure affects front print placement — the zipper runs down the center chest area. Left chest embroidery and back prints are the standard decoration approaches. The heavyweight fleece is well-suited to embroidery.

Buyer FAQ

Common questions

How does the 1580 differ from the Comfort Colors 1566?
Same 9.5 oz 80/20 fleece and side-seamed construction. The 1580 has a quarter-zip neckline with self-fabric collar, while the 1566 is a pullover crewneck.
Can you print on the front of the Comfort Colors 1580?
The center-front zipper limits full front prints. Left chest embroidery, small logo placement, and back prints are the standard decoration approaches.
What print methods work with the Comfort Colors 1580?
DTG, DTF, embroidery, and screen print. The heavyweight fleece is particularly well-suited to embroidery, which is common on quarter-zip styles.
What is the collar on the Comfort Colors 1580?
Self-fabric lined collar — made from the same garment-dyed fleece as the body. Provides a clean, coordinated look around the quarter-zip opening.
